Pool Deck & Garden
Our incredible pool deck and garden overlooks the gorgeous rolling hills of Benahavís, as well as the glistening Mediterranean Sea, with views out as far as Africa and Gibraltar. Our pool deck flows beautifully from inside the villa to the outside pool area via a small set of stairs, allowing you to create a beautiful grand entrance to your ceremony, as well as a stunning photo opportunity.
The area also overlooks the 5-star Anantara Villa Padierna Golf & Spa Resort, as well as its beautiful lake, and is the perfect spot for reception drinks and canapés with high tables dotted around the pool and garden area. Here you can set up a beautiful wedding arch or an arbour and tie the knot with the most incredible views. The area is also fantastic for a post-wedding breakfast the next morning, allowing you to cherish time with your family and friends the day after.
Courtyard Oasis
Nestled in the heart of our estate, our charming courtyard garden serves as an idyllic setting for your wedding ceremony, cocktail reception and dining area. Surrounded by lush greenery and overlooking our expansive grounds, as well as the grounds of the 5-star Anantara Villa Padierna Hotel, this versatile space can be transformed to suit various wedding setups. As the sun sets, soft lighting creates a magical ambience, allowing you and your guests to continue celebrating well into the evening.
In this space, you also have the option to set up a grand marquee for your sit-down dinner and evening entertainment. You will also find gorgeous comfy seating lining the courtyard, complete with beautiful pergolas, allowing you and your guests to mingle whilst enjoying the stunning views.
Yoga Studio
If you’re looking to get married during the summer months but want to avoid the heat, our large and bright yoga studio is a fantastic indoor space that will see you and your guests stay cool despite the warmer weather. The space is fully air-conditioned and also features bi-fold doors so you can open up the room directly onto our garden courtyard. A beautiful wedding arch or arbour can be set up within the room, as well as seating for your guests for a more traditional indoor ceremony.
Relaxation Lounges
Enhance your wedding with our inviting indoor lounge areas. Offering picturesque views of the outdoor pool and surrounding countryside, these lounges provide a comfortable setting for those who wish to relax with a drink and take in the views during the daytime or the evening. With comfy seating and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, the lounges are the perfect setting to host a cocktail or welcome reception with canapés. Alternatively, the lounges can also be transformed into an indoor wedding ceremony area with gorgeous views out towards our pool deck.

With 14 elegantly designed bedrooms, hosting up to 32 guests when sharing, your guests can relax and recharge in comfort both before and after your wedding. You will be amazed by our fantastic facilities here at The Sanctuary. With a full onsite spa, including an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms, as well as private treatment rooms, you and your guests can prepare (or unwind!) from your wedding in the most luxurious way possible. Should you wish to indulge in any treatments before or after your wedding, our Events Planner can arrange a wide variety of beauty treatments on-site, including massages, makeup artists, hairdressers and much more.
We also have an extensive gym area with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, as well as a full yoga studio at your disposal. Our team can even arrange for personal trainers or yoga teachers to host private classes for you and your guests during your stay with us.
Our extensive rooftop terrace area, overlooking the courtyard, is also a great space for a wide range of activities and includes a projector screen with seating if you would like to host a movie night before or after your wedding with friends and family. Packed with large comfortable sofas and chairs, and deckchairs for the movie area, our rooftop terrace is the perfect way to chill out before or after your wedding.
Dining and Catering
With a full professional-grade kitchen on site, dining at The Sanctuary is out of this world! Couples are more than welcome to bring along their own catering team to use our state-of-the-art facilities, or we can arrange a catering team upon consultation.
We offer both indoor and outdoor dining areas for your preference, either in our dedicated dining room for smaller wedding parties of around 30 to 40 guests or outside in our grand garden courtyard.
Convenient Location
Our location is fantastic for both those who are travelling to Spain, as well as those who live in the area. The Sanctuary is located just a short drive from Marbella in the Los Flamingos Golf Resort area of Benahavís. We are just a 20-minute drive from Puerto Banús or 30 minutes from the town centre of Marbella. Málaga Airport is 75km away and Gibraltar Airport is 58km away, and both can be reached in just under an hour by car or via private transfer, which can be arranged by our Events Planner.
